I have always heard that every time you shave it grows back thinker and darker and I was just curious if it was true and if that is true what is it about shaving that makes this possible for you hair to grow back a little thick and a little darker?

No its not true. Its just the fact that all of the hair is growing back at the exact same time. so it looks thicker and darker.

This is a myth its because the hair is blunt when it grows because its been shaved that it appears darker and thicker

hair that is cut by a razor looks thicker because it has been cut at a sharp angle, and it feels stubbly as it grows in for the same reason. the amount of hair on you're legs and the rate at which it grows is determined by the hair follicle, which is not affected by shaving

No, it just looks that way because the cut end is blunt rather than tapered (gradually decreasing from thick to thin), so it's more noticeable.
