I've been working in the same office for three years and I just got my bachelors degree...I'm not sure what is appropriate...I currently make 26,000 and I'm a program assistant.

Go to salary.com and see what people with your experience and education usually make. If that doesn't help, ask for a cost of living raise; go to a federal website and see how much the cost of living has increased since you started.

This is what I'd do: go to salaries.com and see what others in your area are making - it gives you the average salary for your job in your area. Then ask for your raise based on that - start at the high end and be willing to negotiate.

BTW - your raise doesn't have to be cash - consider other perks too, like more vacation time, etc.

check out your caliber.... work out what your experience you had gained in the past 3 years apply for another job... with double your salary..... if they are accepting your required salary then go for it.... else stay on this job till your search ends till the satisfaction level
