For that short a distance you can't get Savers. Just ask for a return (or a single if you're only going one way) and they'll sell you the appropriate ticket. If it's off peak you should be able to get a cheap day single/return. Book in advance on the Internet and you might be able to get an even cheaper ticket.

Ask at the ticket office for a 'Day Return' or 'Saver Return'. whichever will be cheaper. There may also be some West Midland day rover tickets.
