Cilantro is actually an herb because it is a leaf.
The seeds (spice) of the cilantro plant is coriander.
I really am not crazy about caraway seeds or tarragon (herb), but love spices in general.

I'm with you, Cilantro is over the top on the disgusting meter....whoever first decided that that needed to be in almost all salsas needs their head examined. Don't care much for curry, oregano in large quantities, or ginger.

Coriander - OK, it's a herb not a spice but I can't stand the stuff. You can try and hide it in a salsa or a salad dressing with 10 other herbs but it still tastes awful. I do wish they would highlight herbs/spices more clearly in the list of ingredients as they dictate the whole flavour...

I mistakenly used it like parsley in my spaghetti sauce

Pepper and cajun seasoning - my prostate started reacting negatively to pepper at around age 55 - although I love jalapenos and have them every day, the spices have something in them that causes a bad reaction like not being able to pee at all or having sharp pains.
