You should talk to your friend if your that worried he might be going through a phase or anything! Unless she possessed him.
If your really that concerned let him know your feelings about the whole thing don't upset him just let him know your just looking out for his best interest and you don't want him rushing in to any thing as major as this he should give it some thought
be fore he jumps in, ask him how can he be so sure she will say yes has he thought about that?
If it is just sex than tell him there is no need for it he could just treat her with the respect she deserves and before long he might never know where he could be in that relationship in time.

No one knows wot true love is if he thinks hes found it then let him be if he really believes this is the one then good for him.

But if your in doubt why don't you invite them round one evening to get to know her and see if she is sincere about your friend, body language, the way people connect with each other, how she talks about him and how she addresses him can tell you alot, you can never be to sure.
Tell him to take it a bit slower and wait a bit and just see how it all pans out.
For all you know he probably wanted to get a reaction out of you!
but remember you his friend don't let it come between you just support him the best way you can

I doubt it has anything to do with the sex... Some people fall hard and quick... If it is a mistake you have to let him make it. I know couples that have gotten married within a month of knowing eachother and have stayed together. Granted a week is pretty short notice.

That's crazy!! I think that he should wait it out. Because what if he finds out down the road that she's not really his type. Then he'll have to go through a huge divorce and that costs lots of money.

I've been w. my boyfriend for over a year now, and we're doing great, but we want to be finanically stable before we get engaged and then married.

My parents knew each other for 1 and half weeks. They have been married for 35 wonderful years! And they still love each other the way they did when they got married.
