Scholars think it's probable the Dead Sea Scrolls were placed into the caves because they had become worn out. You can't just throw a holy book into the trash, after all.

The Dead Sea Scrolls simply testify to the authenticity of the Bible.

Before they were discovered many scholars tried to disprove the authenticity of sacred scripture by claiming that the words contained in it were deliberately tampered with throughout time in order to suit the Christian belief. However, after the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls this argument stood not ground. This is because the Dead Sea Scrolls shown that what the current Bible said was true. Nothing was added or taken away.

The Dead Sea Scrolls were created and used by a group known as the Essenes. They were a sect within Judaism, descended from the Hasidim. They were rather strict in their interpretation of Jewish Law, and they had a high sense of community and mutual responsibility.

The Scrolls were kept in pottery, as that was custom at the time for preserving important documents. (See Jeremiah 32:14, for example.)

The Dead Sea Scrolls contain the entire Old Testament, with the exception of Esther. When they were examined over the years (since 1947, when they were discovered) and compared with other manuscripts (such as the Masoretic Text and the Septuagint), a high degree of unanimity was revealed when compared. Any differences in the text were subtle, and changed nothing about the Old Testament that Bibles have contained since the beginning.

The dead sea scrolls were a great way to validate the Old Testament. Prior to there finding the oldest copy of the Old Testament was from 900 A.D. that was used against the validity because it has lots of references to the "Savior" it did not name Jesus directly it stated 61 prophecies about the coming Savior that Jesus fulfilled. When they found the dead sea scrolls they were dated to 100-200 B.C. which then validates Jesus historically and mathematically significant. Mathematically due to the improbable odds that he could fulfill all 61 prophecies and not be the Savior.

The dead sea scrolls are the best evidence for Jesus being the Savior and validating the original text of the Old Testament.

I think all those scrolls are as true as any of the others. You have to remember that the boks in the bible where selected by a group of people who at the time though that certain books where best while others weren't. Some, books where left out because of redundance. Others for many other reason. I bet that some got left out due to the difference in philosophy when compared to the people in the committe if that is te proper name. So, as such then all books are just as valid or just as invalid base on the belief system and view of culture and society of that time.

I think the bible is made up of good philosophy, a bit of history and a healthy dose of fairy tales. So, no, the new scroll do not change my view.

Which Dead Sea Scrolls did u read?

Last time i checked, they went along with the Bible. If the Dead Sea Scrolls agree with the Bible then why would that change my opinion?

The Scrolls are accurate, but then most scholars agree that they were written 30 to 50 years after Jesus died. What good is accuracy if they are a fantasy to begin with.
