It is in the liver. Asians are known for a different inherited liver ability to metabolise alcohol as Europeans do. Consider yourself fortunate, live a Sober and Happy life.

Some people have a great tolerance for alcohol and others don't.

Drinking is not all it is cracked up to be. When I was a younger man I drank, and drove and was extremely lucky, because on several occasions I was not aware of how I arrived at my house.

I now drink a beer or two a month and one alcoholic drink about once a month.

So if you can't drink alcohol and still find the need to drink, try a good brandy or wine in moderation. Drinking should never lead to you to getting drunk, it is meant only for socializing.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

I know alot of Asians who have this problem. I'm not sure if it's because you metabolise it differently than, say, a white person or if it is a genetic allergy. Either way stay away from alcohol. That is the only solution.
