Lance: love that $29 dress - woooo hooo. Actually, you could wear this, just add a light jacket. After the formal grad. leave the jacket in the car and go dancin'.

What a beautiful dress! Site is on my favourites now.

Congrats to him!

This is a big day for him. He will be in his formal blues as will every other cop in the place. Dress for a formal, but not wedding-formal occasion. Better to dress up than to dress down.

Also note that this is HIS event, you are there to support, congratulate and share in his accomplishment.

My wife and I attended her brother's ceremony in Chicago. Pretty moving - Mayor Daley and all.

Wear a nice dress or skirt and blouse combination. You should dress nicely but not too formally unless the invitation specifically mentions that it is a formal event.

Wear black and white horizontal stripes or a bright orange jump suit. that would be funny! Heh heh. Anyway, you should dress formally but not too formally, a little more casual. If you wear skirts, then wear a nice skirt and blouse.

wear a dress, or a cute top and skirt... dress kind of like you're going out for dinner at a nice restraunt or something.

I would say wear something like you would wear to church. A nice dress or a pant suit, or even a skirt and a nice blouce. you can never go wrong with one of those.

Something dressy, I'd wear a dress and heels. Think something between a dress for church + something for a nice restaurant + Jackie Kennedy and you have it.

a spaghetti strap summer dress, a bit flowy like with a light sweater, something similar to what you would wear to church on Easter Sunday. Congrats to both of you. :)
