the ONLY fat burning exercise is cardio - 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min) and combine it with light weight training so you wouldnt lose muscle and slow down metabolism because cardio burns fat and muscle -both.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Eat Veggies, grilled skinless chicken breasts, and grilled fish.

Cross training is really a great way to go.

Sunday - Try running a mile then walking a mile. If you can't do the full mile running that is fine. Push as far as you can.

Monday - Run .10 mile sprints 5 times. Cool down between each. Jog/speed walk .5 mile.

Tuesday - Ride a stationary bike for 45 minutes. Then do 35 of each.

Sit ups
Crunches
Bicycle Sit ups

Wednesday - Take off and let your body heal.

Thursday - Run again. Same as Monday. Push as best you can.

Friday - Weight Training. Work on your upper boddy and lower body.

Saturday - Take off.

it really depends on what body parts u wanna change...i exercise 4-5 times a week, and alternate workouts. one day i run on the treadmill, one day i do the elliptical, one day i do an aerobics tape, and the last day i do weight training. I like the eliptical best, it works your whole body and really well!! you also have to cut the calories. to figure out how many cals you should be consuming to lose weight, multiply your weight by 12 and subtract 500 from that number.

Hands down the biggest calorie burner is Cardio Training.

At the Gym you've got lots of options:

Stair Climber, Stationary Bike, Treadmill, Elyptical Machine

All excellent ways to burn calories quickly.

Outside the Gym, running and jumping rope are good.

If you don't eat (as one poster suggested) make SURE you drink liquid and replenish your electrolytes. (I use Gatorade)

I Wish You Luck...

You gotta burn more calories than you take in. Regardless of how hard you work, you have to reduce your intake as well. If you reduce your calorie intake at the same time you increase your output, you will lose weight quicker. The healthy body is built in the kitchen.

for me i attend classes like combat (shadow boxing) and dance classes, mostly cardio exercises like running and walking too..
and also not eating too much, small meals will help.. eating a lot will only give you the "snake effect" bigger belly, and you tend to slow down and feel sleepy and all that.

For me running for sure! It's one of the only things I've ever been able to be consistent and stick with long term.

running, in my opinion. But it's also the hardest to stay consistent with because, let's be honest, most of the time it's not fun.

Cardio first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.
