why is it more likely for a guy, after he gets what he wants- to just break up with the girl when hes done sleeping around with her? why do guys do that? and why do they stay with the ones that dont give it up because they have something to work for but then fuss about not getting any?? what are guys thinking? and then they say they LOVE YOU and would NEVER leave you but then they do after the sex gets old.

It is all a matter of what the persons goal is. If the goal was to get sex then that is as far as the person will be willing to take it. Some stay but not most. I mean, why stay if your goal was acomplished why stay. Is like going to a restaurant. Once you eat and pay the bill, is time to go somewhere else.

Get to know the person and establish what is it that you both are trying to accomplish. Make sure you both se eye to eye on the matter other wise it won't work. Don't confuse a wolfe to a dog. If you want a companion get a dog. If you want to instill fear on oncomers get a wolfe and see the wolf devour them. Same with me or woman in relationships.

I think there are whole books written on this subject. Guys like and want sex period and most want it from whoever they date even if hes not interested in something long term. Guys enjoy the chase. However guys also want love so when they find it most will stay. Best thing you can do is not give it up. If he loves you he will wait and the idea is to be truly in love before that stuff starts. Love doesn't happen in weeks give it many months. I don't know... this is a question for the ages. Men are asses, i know i am one.

Don't give it up easy, reason they stay with the ones who don't give it up easy is that they had time to develop a love or like for that person enough to stick around.
If in a relationship, you should always aim to keep it fresh and never let the sex get old. Get Creative to keep your man happy or someone else will.
Never think that something will last forever, enjoy it while you have it and maybe thats how you can keep it.

The simple answer is because men are pigs but when you get beyond the pigdom it is because sex is just that for most men, they will do and say anything to get it where girls will make love with a man and see it as just the begining of a relationship. Teen guys will say anything to get into your pants. I remember being a teen myself and a guy breaking up with me because I won't sleep with him. Oh, well at least I was not considered easy!
Most teens give it up way to Early and the time their 18, they have over 10 guys with an std! The point is by 18 you should be still a virgin but not these days.

My girl opinion:
You must be pretty young. This sounds like a teenage guy situation. Teenage boys know that they are just that, teenagers, its not like they are looking to marry someone. They also have raging hormones and if a girl gives it up to them, they are appreciative for it but then decide to see what sex is like with other girls. Sorry but this is just the way it is and I am an adult now but somethings never change. When this guys become men it gets a little better ; )
