If, as you say, homosexuality is a sin...and a person can turn from their sin by being born again....then they become a new person, the old things have passed away.

So, would you marry/date or allow your child to marry/date a former homosexual?

As a homosexual, I would have to say that "God" can not save someone from being gay. and if this certain homo is pulling this scam on you or one of your kids then you should know that it might not be today or tomorrow, but that homo will be a homo again. men are whores, and even though we try to not be, we still are. i worry about "fornor gays" they are hiding their true feelings and you never know how those feelings might chose to assert themselves. hope my sinful insight sheds some light.

Not unless I was a current homosexual. Homosexuality isn't a choice, it's not a switch in someone's head that they can just turn off. The relationship would be hollow, without passion or romantic love. Though the two participants may love each other, it's just not going to be the same, because a "former" homosexual is just a "current" homosexual in denial.

I am an atheist, but I would have a problem with dating or marrying someone who had been gay. I think that them turning straight may just be a coverup, or an attemp to be accepted by society. Forcing someone to repent and become another person is not the answer.

I would have to know the person deeply before I would ever consider beginning a relationship with them,.

You do not "end up" homosexual. She most likely constantly used to be and felt she might receive herself more now. Being homosexual is just not a sin as many Christians would have you ever believe. However, many do focus on designated passages in the Bible. But they don't focus on the other passages--consuming shellfish is an abomination, so is carrying two different materials while, and so is a person touching--let on my own sound asleep in--the mattress that a lady has had her interval in. So you see, we do not examine folks burning down their neighborhood crimson Lobsters. We undoubtedly do not see humans wearing only one type of material day-to-day. We additionally be aware of that many married humans share the identical mattress--and definitely the woman has had her period at the same time utilising the mattress. So, honestly homosexuality is equated in Leviticus with those sins. Additionally, Jesus under no circumstances recounted homosexuality. Moreover, I advocate you read the ebook "Prayers for Bobby" as it is about a very religious girl now not being able to take delivery of her son's homosexuality until he killed himself. She then--after a couple years--discovered that the Bible has an additional view on this. I honestly propose the book to you. In addition, the Bible used to be not written in English it used to be translated, and identical to in English, other languages have one phrase that has a few meanings. An example of this is the phrase for chippie additionally intended a man or woman that worked with their palms. Many students now know that Jesus wasn't a "carpenter" in view that timber was scarce. As an alternative, he worked along with his palms--customarily with stones. See, equal factor with the homosexuality section, and that i do advocate that ebook given that it explains many passages in the Bible. Also, in keeping with the Bible you are not supposed to evaluate, and you're supposed to love the sinner.

I personally wouldn't, but wait......oh yea, i'm a lesbian. I don't think people can be "born again" and then return to a straight lifestyle. I think deep down inside the person born again is still a homosexual, but can't deal with it and doesn't want to accept it. It's amazing how people can brainwash you.

you do not "develop into" gay. She more beneficial than probably continually become and felt she might want to settle for herself more beneficial now. Being gay isn't a sin as many Christians would have you ever believe. although, many do concentration on particular passages contained in the Bible. yet they do no longer concentration on the different passages--ingesting shellfish is an abomination, so is wearing 2 diverse fabrics at the same time, and so is a guy touching--no longer to point slumbering in--the mattress that a lady has had her era in. so that you spot, we do not analyze people burning down their community pink Lobsters. We really do not see people wearing purely one form of fabric popular. We also recognize that many married people percentage an same mattress--and obviously the female has had her era at the same time as utilising the mattress. So, fairly homosexuality is equated in Leviticus with those sins. also, Jesus by no ability said homosexuality. besides, I advise you study the e book "Prayers for Bobby" because this is about an fairly non secular lady no longer having the ability to settle for her son's homosexuality till he killed himself. She then--after a pair years--discovered that the Bible has a diverse view in this. I fairly advise the e book to you. besides, the Bible become no longer written in English it become translated, and same to in English, different languages have one note that has quite a few meanings. An party of it truly is the note for timber worker also meant a individual that worked with their palms. Many scholars now recognize that Jesus wasn't a "timber worker" because timber become scarce. rather, he worked consisting of his palms--probably with stones. Quite simply, NO. But that is because I don't think a person can ever be a "former" gay person. I think people are either gay or they're not and if they try to deny it they are only fooling themselves.

Would you allow your daughter to date someone who had previously been caught lying about his resume to get a job but now has a good honest job?

Would you marry someone who got caught driving drunk but now was 3 years and 4 days sober?

The key good news word in your questions is "former". Aint it good we all can be "former" somethings if we want to?

I would not. A person is born gay, they will always be gay. It is wrong to make them deny how they were born.

"Allow"????? It is not up to me who my child marries. Do you think you have a right to say whom your child will marry? I hope not!
