I'm currently working on another one that I think will be pretty good, but it will have alot more randon thoughts than just focusing on 1 thing.
David, I havent yet, but I have every intention of doing it before weeks end.

Charlie, Thansks for the compliment on the article and please dont take this wrong. The reason Tony WAS called to the trailer WAS because of his comments, not the press conferance from the week before. NA$CAR is not going to make a specticle and not let them unload for missing a press conferance. They will however make one when they feel like they were attacked, they retaliated against Tony period. Over the many years of watching, I've seen drivers skip meeting with the press, and as I re-call, someone can correct me, I've never seen a fine for it, not even under SEC 12-4-A. Tony did in fact apoligize for his comments and said that he should have "consulted" with them before making statements and that he trusted the people making the calls. The fine states that it was for not meeting with the press, but if the rose color glasses are taken off, the fine was for his comments.

Also, I'm a Dale Jr fan first, Kevin Harvick 2nd, Tony falls in between 4th and 5th. I'm not a huge fan, but I am a fan of his.

Very nice rant.One thing you may have over-looked being a Stewart fan.Tony wasn't called to task for his wrestling comments.It was because finsihing in the top 3 he didnt meet with the press.At first Tony stated it wasnt in his contract to do so.But when Nascar not so gently, I presume, pointed out that indeed it is on his apllication for the race,Tony changed his tune and that was what he apoligized for nothing else.Nor should he have.Very nice piece tho.

Wow, you really let them have it. Good for you, maybe when enough of us voice our opinions it will get through to them but I doubt it. I totally agree about the France deal and have wondered why that got swept under the rug so quickly and never really got mentioned after that.
