If you play 275,000 times you should win at least once.

It all depends on your lifestyle. If you can afford to buy the lottery ticket each week, then go for it! I can completely understand how mortifying it would be to stop playing and then your lottery ticket win the next week . . .

But if you really can't afford to buy them anymore, you should not keep up with which numbers are winning the lottery. This is just in case your number wins after you have stopped... trust me, you won't feel too good.

But you already know the odds of winning! Apparently it's 1 in 275,000? That's really not bad for a lottery! Either way, you should sit down and think about what is best for your financial status and your mental state :)

It depends on which lottery game you are playing....I play pick 3 and have won 18 times since it started in our state last year. I just won last night. The only thing is I buy 50 cent tickets and last night I had the exact number and if I had bought a dollar exact ticket I would have won $500......oh well $40 is better than nothing.

I don't think you will win if you are waiting to win the "big one"....just play pick 3 and see if you can win with that.

I live in NY and whenever I play the lottery or megamillions or take 5, I play the same numbers that I have been playing for many years I will always play the same numbers sooner or later they will come in. If you can afford to play dont give up keep on playing the same numbers Good Luck

Your lottery odds actually sound pretty good. Odds for winning the UK's National Lottery are about 14 million to 1, I believe.
