i've gone on about 6 dates with this guy, he's met my family and i've met his. we're hanging out tonight with another couple, and I would just like to know if he considers us a couple, but i dont know a good way to ask him so its not wierd. any ideas???

First of all, wait till you two are alone to talk to him about this. Just tell him that people have been asking if the two of you are a couple and that you really don't know how to respond back to them seeings how the two of you never came right out and discussed it. Then ask him how he feels about the status of your relationship. Does he consider the two of you as just dating? Or does he consider the two of you an exclusive couple? I think that he views you two as an exclusive couple, but you still need to ask him. It is best if you know exactly where his head is at. I don't think that he would introduce a casual date to his family. So the fact that you two have introduced each other to one anothers family says a lot. By the way, there is nothing weird with finding out exactly where you stand in a relationship. It's a smart thing to do. Good luck. Take care.

If you have gone out on (6) dates you should feel comfortable around him, just tell him how you feel and see if he feels the same way. If he says he is not sure don't try to put pressure on him just make sure you both know what to expect from each other.

I think he does because if he's willing to go ahead and meet your family AND show you his thats a big deal. But if you just want to hear him confirm any doubts you may have then you have to ask him. Just remember. Actions say a lot more than words sometimes.

I would wait for a time when you can bring up the relationship up privately and casually discuss it. He may be wondering the same thing as you.

When you introduced him to your family did you specify this is my bf?
If not just try it out for size during normal conversation, if he doesn't protest or mention anything latter, yep, you are a couple.
