If you believe the Bible...why is there no mention of dinosaurs? (which we have PROOF of) and how did the freshwater fish live after the world was consumed with saltwater during the story of Noah?

AND if you think you received a message from your God, why haven't you given thought that it might be in your head? after all, there is PROOF of people hearing things or seeing things.

Because of Jesus Christ's resurrection. Everything written in the Old Testament pointed to Christ. He then revealed these truths in the New Testament and then conquered death by His resurrection.
To understand Christ's redemption of mankind you must understand the following:
1) Veritology- What is reality? God
2) Anthropology- What is man? Sinful
3) Theology- Who is God? Truth
World System= illusion, lies, deceit
Truth=Reality=God
Only through God is reality revealed, everything else is an illusion. When we truly understand that we are sinful and God is Holy it is clear that we need a Redeemer, a Savior which is Jesus Christ, Lord and God.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Amen.

God created the whole universe. But it is human that created religions. Human in the deepest mind and soul have a connection with their creator, trough time they found it out and start to realize. But they interprete it in different ways, that's why there are so many religions.
Wise and divine man create good religion, meanwhile some daydreamer wacko create bad religion. That's why some religion are felt so true and some are felt so artificial.
I believe in my religion becuz it's made me a better man.

I believe my religion is correct because it follows the Bible which is the word of God. What my religion is about is believing you have to be saved to go to Heaven, my religion is about Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God and He was crucified on a cross on Calvary for everyone's sins and 3 days later He was raised from the grave and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting to come back and receive us to himself.

I don't wonder why Atheists are Atheists it is their choice in what to believe and yes they have their reasons why they are atheists but Christians have reasons too and since everyone has their own view about things they choose to believe what they believe because of their view on things, Christians usually have similar views, same with Atheists. I choose to believe in God because of things I have read in the Bible, because that is what I have been raised with, and because of many scientific things like,1. something organized becomes chaos so if we had evolved we wouldn't be smarter than our ancestors, but compared to them we would be mentally retarded, 2. the sun is shriking so even if the world was 10,000 years old the Earth would have been IN the sun, and 3. the moon is moving away, so somewhere on the Earth there would have to be a crater so big that if you filled it up with dirt ,1/4 of the dirt on the entire Earth would fill it up.

I don't have a religion, but I believe in god/higher power and that I am on a spiritual journey. I believe that life is about having experience so that our souls can evolve and come closer to that higher power. I also believe we have many lifetimes and we have any and every experience we need to bring us closer to god. The reason I believe these things is because my life experiences have brought me to these beliefs. For me, it is the only way that I can accept that in all lives there is negative as well as positive. I am very aware of the expeirences I am having in this life and what I am supposed to take from them. I also have memories from previous lives - these memories do not at all correspond with my present life. So, this is what I have come to believe. Many tell me I am wrong and try to convert me, but this is what feels right in my heart and it is the closest and most healthy relationship I have had with god.

I believe that my Catholic Christian Faith is true from lived experience, the testimony of many great minds and the logic of love. I'm not saying that all Catholics are good examples of the Faith well lived ,but I do know many who are.
I've looked into many religions and I respect and appreciate them,Christian and non, and I have found everything that i am looking for in Catholicism. The other Christian ones seem to be Catholicism minus authority and minus so many other life-giving things.

Hi,
Religions are a taught belief. People are conditioned to think in line with thier teachings as it "gives them what they seek"; and they seek Truth and in thier private religion they feel they have that Truth.
With that "Truth" they can live knowing all thier bases are covered with the "allmighty" and that, upon physical death they will be taken care of.
In "truth", religions are simple Dogmatic teachings and do not represent the true nature of reality; in the event you wish for more information on the tru nature of reality , post a qustion and lets see what answers you might get.

You can believe in anything. If you really wanted to you could create your own religion centered around Harry Potter. I am an Atheist, and to me religion is whatever you want to believe. Sure there are things out there that the masses all believe. What matters though is what you see as right, and what you believe. To tell you the truth everyone believe that their own religion is right.

2 Corinthians 13:5 - Keep testing whether YOU are in the faith, keep proving what YOU yourselves are. Or do YOU not recognize that Jesus Christ is in union with YOU? Unless YOU are disapproved.
We test our faith every day to make sure that what we believe is the truth. And we prove to ourselves from the Bible that it is. If you don't believe the Bible then you can't know the truth.

Because it makes sense to me, it offers me comfort and solace, it helps me understand the world and my place in it, and helps me interact with the Higher Power that I believe exists in the Universe.
I don't believe that it is "the correct religion" - I just know that it is "the correct religion FOR ME", and that's what's important.
