Hey Reisling... like someone else said... is this a stranger? If its a stranger then it someone who is tyring to get to know you... a lot of guys have no problems being so forward with a girl by e-mail, text or other online way to meet people. Although he could be a weirdo... most likely he just wants to get to know you... and when a guy just wants to get to know you its true that he is always thinking how he can get you in bed kind of thing in the back of his mind. Its just the way 95% of the guys in this world are.

Now if you know him then its either a good thing or a little creepy right? I mean using the word compulsion is pretty strong and suggests stalker/rapist/nut job... but most likely he is just trying to be unique and make himself stand out a little more.

What is the harm is you add him to find out? As long as adding him doesn't open you up to any drama.. .you can always delete/block him or report him for abuse if it ever gets to that level.

I'd say give him a chance.

It could mean a number of things, however, most of them are bad. I'd offer that the person is obsessive and controlling. They also likely have jealousy issues and have a tendency to react emotionally to many, if not all, situations. Steer clear...adding someone is something that comes after a real connection is made...its not based on a few words or a picture. You are justified in being concerned...

It at least indicates a strong interest. You might do well to ask the person who sent the message what it means, as he or she would be in a better position to tell you.

Add you as a friend? What is this...myspace? That sounds kind of strange. What do you mean? They might like you, or have an interest.

Real friends ask before adding other people to their friends list. It's called common courtesy.

Perhaps they have always liked you but felt distant from you somehow. They have seen something in you they like and want to be closer to you now.

I personally would be wary, I am never too free with people I meet online.

They probably like you and want to talk more.
