If God is so kind and so forgiving, why is there things wrong in this world. I am an Atheist, and I do not condem people for any of their beliefs I rather try to understand them. Please tell me how can you worship someone who is so cruel, and unforgiving to you. I mean I just need to understand. I would apperciate any answers.

Is it God who is cruel (working of course on the assumption that there IS a God) or is it us who are cruel to ourselves and each other? Doesn't the question then become why are WE so cruel and unforgiving? If God exists and didn't allow us to do our own bidding, would we be anything more than robots?

I worship because I believe that we are given opportunities to do great and wonderful things and also given a choice to do or not to do those things and I would like to make the most of my life.

God is always in communication with people who consider their mistakes and hear their hearts.
In this world things are going wrong because If God forgives people but some people does not even forgive themselves how can they be forgiven from others. They think the truth is like the feeling of their emotions tell them but it is the ego that does not allow to forgive.
Note: Ego is related to Fear, Fear of losing some value, changes, something unknown but good, ext.
You do not have to worship God but try to understand only understand the messages and pick up the points you feel from your heart, that those messages are creating a union between God and yourself. After creating a union between God and yourself you will be downloading wisdom directly from the source.

Jehovah God doesn't cause bad things to happen in the world, its all the devil. Remember that God kick out the devil and his wicked angels from heaven. The devil is the ruler of this world.;

1 Peter 5: 7  reads -while YOU throw all YOUR anxiety upon him, because he cares for YOU. 8 Keep YOUR senses, be watchful. YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]. 9 But take YOUR stand against him, solid in the faith, knowing that the same things in the way of sufferings are being accomplished in the entire association of YOUR brothers in the world.

God is all love. If something bad happened it was cause by the devil, or it could be, that people were at the wrong place ant the wrong time.

Well, I worship because

AS,

everyone alive, I have to worship something or someone. I choose to worship the God who saved me, created all things, and loved me more than eneough, that he sent his only beloved Son into this world to save me. He did not have to do this but he loved me too, too, too, much not to.

I will name a few other of the many reasons why I worship

WHO

and

WHOM

I worship.

1) I have peace within.
2) I know where I am going when I die.
3) I have an all powerful, knowing, and all whatever else I can not think of at the present, Father; God the Father.
4) I have an all powerful, knowing, and all whatever else I can not think of at the present brother, God the Son.
5) I have an all powerful, knowing, and all whatever else I can not think of at the present Holy Spirit, which dwells within me; God the Holy Spirit.
6) I have all of my NEEDS suppied by God with too numerous benefits supplied to me that I can number.
7) I have someone who enables me to stay saved, even when I am going through trials and tests and temptations, and I can truely say that I live free from sin.

Contrary to what you have seen, believe or heard, God is not this horrible ogar which you seem to think that he is. I love Him and will stick up for him

ALWAYS.

God is the creator of all life. We owe him. Even if our lives are difficult (downright miserable, even) God turns our lives around as we put faith in him, and he lifts us up. He becomes real to those who humbly acknowledge his awesome reality. Forgiveness is not something anyone can expect, or that they are entitled to! Only a loving and kind God would forgive a rotten sinner like me and raise me up. The evil in this world is not God's doing. He is sovereign and is dealing with it, in his own sublime way. All creation will be judged by Christ; everything hidden will be exposed, even the motives of our hearts. Christ came into this world to suffer and die in our stead, for that was the only way the righteous demands of a holy God could be met. We couldn't do it because of our sin. So the sinless Christ, in love, came and by his death and resurrection triumphed over evil and death. The victory has already been won. The death-throes of evil are scary, but we worship God because he's planned a hope and a future for those who trust him.

Certainly this world is a passage while the next world is a place of permanent abode. So, take from the passage (all that you can) for the permanent abode. Do not tear away your curtain before Him Who is aware of your secrets. Take away from this world your hearts before your bodies go out of it, because herein you have been put on trial, and you have been created for the other world. When a man dies people ask what (property) he has left while the angels ask what (good actions) he has sent forward. May Allah bless you; send forward something, it will be a loan for you, and do not leave everything behind, for that would be a burden on you.

Man has rejected God, the state of the world is an end result of man's hatred toward fellow man, abuse of the environment, greed and a whole host of other man based problems.

I worship because having experienced God, I see that there is an alternative to man's way of doing things.

As an atheist, to what do you contribute the state of the world in the absence of a god?

God is not cruel but sometimes we humans don't listen.God doesn't want all this bad stuff to happen but that's the only way people will turn to him and listen to him. God is not unforgiving,he will forgive you if you ask him to.

I hope this answers your question!

Not because God needs it because He doesn't. I worship God because worship is my highest experience of communion with God and Nature and with others who worship God. I find fulfillment as well as fulfilling the need of the soul and the command of God. I do not experience God as cruel or mean but as good, merciful, just and loving.

God gave us freedom of choice...and many have made poor decisions which has led to so many bad things in the world.

Religion has tarnished God's image...but, God is quite remarkeable...don't judge him by the actions of the religious...they are human and fail....

If you truly sit and contemplate on God, and seek his face and pray to him for guidance, you will find peace...however, you will not find it looking to man or man's religious dogma.
