"A good way to judge people is by that which makes them laugh". Doesn't that violate the verse, "judge not lest ye be judged"?

" Judge not lest ye be judged ".

I always disliked that verse. It is not so much that the verse is wrong it's the interpretation of it that i find fault with.

We as individuals will be judged, therefore we do and must judge others. Although we must judge others as we ourselves
would like to be judged.

Most folk take the verse to mean, do not judge others, which is a blatant error. We Judge all the time and that in and of itself is not a fault but a virtue if we judge correctly.

The Bible Leviticus 19:15
" Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor
or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

Have a pleasant day.

Christians love to judge.

I saw a church sign that said "Heaven...Deal or No Deal?". I thought, hey pascal's wager in the form of a church sign. Then I wondered if it was morally ethical for them to steal a copyrighted phrase.

Great. They're trying to induce guilt in their congregations or passersby for having a good laugh. It's amazing how their God programmed us with so much capacity for pleasure, but doesn't want us to use very much of it. *sigh*
