It is possible. I know many people who have done it. And many other who only made a mistake once when they were young and learned from it. These people are all older than you. In the old days there was greater emphasis on respecting marriage. Well, not that long ago. Sure, people still cheated, but not to the degree I see it today.
I have had a lot of experiences lately where I tell a woman I'm married and they told me "She doesn't have to know about it." I would know! And I can't live with myself trying to keep a secret like that. I'm not a good liar because I choose to be bad at it. That helps keep me straight.

I have never cheated. I know of a few people who have, like my 1st wife who ran off with a lover after 10 years. I admit that I was tempted from time to time, but I never acted, I never succumbed to temptation. When single and dating, I have sometimes been dating a couple of women at the same time, but that is not cheating, it's just dating, like it was in high school, non-exclusive relationships. There are no exclusive expectations. My problem with multiple current dating partners is keeping them straight, so while I have done it once in a while, I mostly date one woman at a time now.

There can never be a true "monogamous" relationship. Men and women alike are always looking for the next best thing. They may not act on it, but people are always looking. Even if its just eyeing some girl walking down the street. But not all people cheat. Have faith

Yes it is. When 2 people that are happy find love it is more than possible.I'm M for 7yrs. we don't think about it & together for 10yrs. The trick, WE change to meet each others needs . We have learned to open up completely with trust and communication. Mentally, emotionally,& sexually we find new ways to keep the others interest peeked. You gotta put in the work. now you have met 1 person that is in a monogamous relationship and we intend to keep it that way. I tell my husband if the need ever come, talk to me. Let me try first to give you what you think your missing.

I have never cheated on anyone. Sure, it's possible for people to be monogamous...just as it's possible for people to not be monogamous. A lot of people have standards...those standards are: if you cheat on me, you are history. It really isn't that hard.

Of course. If you are sharing your life with an honest, secure person who would never think of cheating and hurting you sure. And, when a relationship is important to you and you feel it getting stagnet then, you do things to spice it up and also keep the level of communicating going.

there are plenty of people who don't cheat. i have been with my man for 2 years, and we have no desire to cheat on each other.
yes we have both male and female friends, but when it comes to sexual advances; we look to each other and not the friends or anyone else outside our relationship.
so yes, people can be truly monogamous......
