1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Why is it that people are not experiencing the abundant life?

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.

4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" John 1:12

We can think Bill Bright for putting that together. He originated the Four Spiritual Laws. It has always been there but it took someone like Bill Bright to put it together.

So now there are too of us. Just remember I am the original.

Concerning Buddhism's 4 Noble Truths, it all sounds great, but where is the Creator of the universe in Buddhism? It seems to me to be a do it yourself club. We can't do it ourselves, we need Him to help us.

Perhaps the main reason that people are not enjoying the abundant life you suggest is the fact that we see far too much preaching of the word and not enough living and action of the word.
Look someone who is burdened down with personal sin is first of all crippled and hurting and not only do they not see this and understand it,they don`t need someone quoting scripture at them, Jesus was very aware that judging is detrimental to healing, Jesus backed up His message with good works and action.
When was the last time you hugged a down and out and said how can I help you brother? or cleaned the vomit from a sick beggars face.
If you cannot walk the talk then don`t preach at people.

Are you familiar with Buddhism's 4 Noble Truths?

1. Suffering: Birth is suffering, aging is suffering, illness is suffering, death is suffering; union with what is displeasing is suffering; separation from what is pleasing is suffering; not to get what one wants is suffering; in brief, the five aggregates subject to clinging are suffering.

2. The cause of suffering: The craving which leads to renewed existence (rebirth) (the cycle of samsara)

3. The cessation of suffering: The cessation of craving.

4. The way leading to the cessation of suffering: The Noble Eightfold Path---

Wisdom (Sanskrit: prajñā, Pāli: paññā)
1. Right view
2. Right intention

Ethical conduct (Sanskrit: śīla, Pāli: sīla)
3. Right speech
4. Right action
5. Right livelihood

Mental discipline (Sanskrit and Pāli: samādhi)
6. Right effort
7. Right mindfulness
8. Right concentration
