That's kind of a hard question. In one sense, I'm pretty tolerant. I don't expect my government representatives to disassociate themselves from their religious beliefs when they consider what kinds of legislation they'll vote for or introduce. However, the tolerance isn't perfect because I do expect them to go against their religious beliefs when those beliefs oppress others. I prefer to live and let live, as it were. Be Christian. Be Muslim. Be Agnostic. Be Hindu. Be atheist. Be Heaven's Gate. I don't have any problems accomodating anyone of any religious belief in my community.
My intolerance comes when religious beliefs/practices interfere with the way I live my life. Be Mormon, just don't come knocking on my door. Be Wahabbi, just don't judge me a whore and infidel because I show more skin than your sect can deal with. Be Hindu, just don't expect me not to eat cow. Be Christian Fundamentalist, just don't turn my state (Kansas) into the new baseline for new-Puritanism.
So I would say that overall, I'm not that tolerant and, to be honest, I don't think I can be. I'm a minority religion in a very dominant Christian nation. I tolerate Christian cultural norms because there's no real choice. I do not tolerate legislation that has its only basis in Christian morality and values, rather than more general values.

I think I am quite tolerant although when Christians tell me that I am going to hell because I don't think like them, I have been known to get a bit cross. Could I be more tolerant? Yes. I'm trying to raise my levels! lol!

Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them, for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me, (Ex 20:5)
(If you want an honest answer, I can tolerate the person's or people of another faith as long as we respect each others beliefs and not try to force them on one another.)

People have the right to believe what they want so long as they don't make demands of other people in the name of their beliefs. If a person asks me if I would like to learn about their church then they are doing nothing wrong. If I say no and they push their way into my house to convert me I will shoot them with a gun till they stop twitching. Respect for beliefs has to go both ways.

I have always made a concerted effort, and I think I do pretty well. I am only intolerant of those who oppress and persecute others because of their faith or philosophy.

I have no problem allowing others to choose their own faith. I don't think it should be a problem speaking about my faith either.
