Why do Jehovah's Witnesses deny that Jehovah was the Living God of the Old Testament and that Jesus Christ was the Living God made flesh? How would a Jewish carpenter possibly been crucified for saying he was the Son of the Living God if the Pharisees didn't assume that meant he was Divine? Why do they deny that God Almighty appeared in the form of Jehovah, the Living God, the Lord God, YHWH several times in the Old Testament? Why do they deny that IT WOULD OF BEEN INSANE FOR A MAN TO SAY HE WAS GOD ALMIGHTY? Why do they think the Pharisees were lying when they said "we condemn you for saying you are God Himself (Jehovah, the Living God, YHWH, I AM)? Why do they deny that Jesus said he was the Living God. Jehovah, I AM in John 8:56-59?

Jer 10:10 But Jehovah Elohim is truth; he is the living God, and the King of eternity.

Jehovah is the living God. Jesus is the living God's son.

Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Jehovah is King of eternity where Jesus is king for a short time. Making them seperate.

Exd 15:18 Jehovah shall reign for ever and ever!

1 Cr 15:24 - Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

Everyone back then was aware there was a Messiah coming...The scrolls pointed forward to where he would be born...what lineage he would follow and when he would come.
The religious leaders knew better than anyone about him. Yet they resented being put out of a job. They liked the system as it was with them having a favored position.
When God's angelic only begotten son was born and raised and came to the synagogue to speak to them of the scrolls they were astounded at his knowledge and way of speaking. And he was only 12 years old.
Jesus was transferred to Marys womb as God's son. He grew up calling himself God's son. When they tried to make him king of the jews he withdrew to avoid them. He even warned them that he never ever though he was equal to God. He always said he came to do the will of his father in the heavens. The bible says no man has seen God at any time and lived...yet many thousands have seen Jesus and lived long lives. Even if you think Jesus and Jehovah are the same person..how can you explain that one part was seen by men and one part not seen yet...bible says no man has seen God at anytime and lived?
Jehovah has no beginning or end...Jesus was created
Jehovah is the father
Jesus is God's angelic son.
Jesus name before he came to earth was Michael the Archangel.

John 8:56-59 is Jesus explaing that he had a prehuman existence. He was in heaven before the earth came to be..in fact the heavens and the earth and universe were made by him as God's master builder.
The first thing Jehovah made was Jesus...then he asked Jesus ( Michael before he came to earth ) to build all these things for him. And Jesus was happy to please his father.

You seem to not understand Jehovah's Witnesses doctrines. They do believe Jehovah is God Almighty. They believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel, but that he is divine, but subordinate to the Father. I can't think of any verse in the Bible that contradict this and you don't quote any for anyone to consider.

I agree with you on John 8:56-59, however. It does seem that Jesus was claiming to be Jehovah here, but unfortunately the verse can be interpreted more then one way. Since you made the challenge, the burden of proof is on you.

Why do you deny the possibility that the Jehovah's witness church may be right? Why do you assume that an ancient carpenter might not have been insane? Why are you so bent on proving your position right to the exclusion of others?

These are the things that have completely turned me to the opinion that Biblians are insane. They place all their faith in a book, to the point of using it as fodder to try and prove others wrong. Those who claim the Bible to be a Sword are right. They use it only for warfare and for fighting, rather than learning the lessons of Christ.

Today, ANY individual claiming to be god would be hospitalized; Jesus or otherwise. They would be legally insane.

The idea that any church can know the true and full nature of the historical Jesus is insanity itself. Believe what you wish, but don't try to assume that your knowledge is somehow superior to others. If you wish to prosletyze, grab your soap-box and megaphone and go out somewhere and do it. Know though, that the more you attack people, the fewer listeners you will have. Talk about what you know to be right, rather than who you know to be wrong and you'll maybe find someone willing to listen. Keep on as you are and you'll only show what you don't know.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jehovah is God Almighty's name, as brought out at Psalms 83: 18 "That nations may know that you whose name is Jehovah, you alone are most high over all the earth."

The Jews did not want to accept Jesus as the Messiah, they wanted an earthly king. They rejected Jesus as the Messiah and God's son, that is why they had him killed. After all these years, they still reject him as the Messiah, they wanted their traditions more than accepting and following Jesus teachings.

How can 1000's men have seen Jesus and he be God? John 1: 18 "No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him." At John 8: 56-59, The Jews were questioning Jesus age, not his identity..."You are not yet fifty years old, and still you have seen Abraham? Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to you, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been." or as some translate "I am". Some have even have capital letters to convey the idea of a title. They thus endeavor to connect the expression with Exodus 3:14. Jesus reply logically dealt with his age, the length of his existance. Since he had a prehuman existance, he could say he had seen Abraham. Just because he said that, did not mean he was saying he is God Almighty.

Says A Grammer of the Greek New Testament in the Light of Historical Research by A. T. Robertson: "The verb (ei.mi) ..Sometimes it does express existence as a predicate like any other verb, as in (e.go ei.mi) (John 8: 58) - Nashville, Tenn.: 1934 p. 394.

Following verses to consider:
John 14:28 "...I am going away to the father, because the father is greater than ( I am)."
John 6:38 "because I have come down to heaven to do not my will, but the will of him that sent me"
John 7: 16 "What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me."
John 10: 30 "I & Father are one.."
John 17: 21 & 22 "in order that they may alll be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth."
Col. 1: 15 "by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. He the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth.."
1 John 4:9 "By this the love of God was made manifest in our case, because God sent forth only begotten son into the world that we might gain life through him."
Heb 11:17 "offer up only begotten son"
Matt 24: 36-39 "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only teh Father."

Jehovah is God Almighty. Jesus Christ is the son, Jehovah's first creation. no person has seen Jehovah God but they seen Jesus Christ when he came to earth. not even Moses seen Jehovah. when Jesus was baptized, Jehovah came down like a dove and said this is my son the beloved. Jesus said he cannot do anything without the Father in the heaven, so how can Jesus be Jehovah?

Jehovah is the God of the entire Bible. At Ps. 83:18, he is called the Most High. Is Jesus the Most High of the NT?
Read what the angel Gabriel said to Mary when announcing Jesus' upcoming birth as a human. At Luke 1:31, 32, it says: "So the angel said to her: “Have no fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God; and, look! you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus. This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High." Did Gabriel say that Jesus would be called the Most High? NO! Jesus would be called SON of the Most High. Doesn't that make a big difference?

Read what else Gabriel said in the last part of verse 32: "and Jehovah God will give him the throne of David his father." So Gabriel said that Jehovah [Lord God] would GIVE Jesus the throne of David. How then could Jesus be God Almighty?

By the way, does God have a father?

Joh 20:17 Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.

Mat 3:17 and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Just two of the hundreds of verses showing the Father (Jehovah) being another person than the Son (Jesus)

By the way, you screwed up your John 8:56-59 quote.

What are you talking about?

Jehovah's Witnesses do not deny that Jehovah was the living God of the Old Testament. But can you please prove to me that Jesus was the Living God made flesh? I don't think so.

Jesus never said he was God.” read John 8:54 Jesus answered: “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father that glorifies me, he who YOU say is YOUR God;. Jehovah and Jesus are two different people, he is the son of god. Some times the bible is hard to under stand. We need to cross reference, and look in other chapter too, to get the full under standing.♥ Who's giving u your info?
