Just the thought of touching my current significant other is enough to make me want to heave. I'm just plain sick of what she's got to offer. Is sex the most important part of a happy family life? No. There is no such thing as a happy family life. Not for me, anyway. I hate the thought of spending the rest of my life having sex only with the same person.

Yes it is. Other things may be more important then sex but it is the opening point. without saisfication in sex you can not go ahead for a good and happy family life.

To have a happy family life love is the most important factor...sex is something which binds this love even stronger According to me Love alone can survive but sex intensifies love..it brings you one step closer to your partner..you get bonded both physically and mentally,the boundary b/w u 2 just dissolves completely.. and apart from all this it does make you happy and relaxed..

For any animal (including human) the life is the 'fight for food and reproduction'. The human animal has many others (like love, possessiveness, ego, jealousy, life style etc etc) built around this as the so called civilization proceeds. So sex is one of the important (a reason for existence) for any human with 'good' health.

Well, actually for me, sex is one of the thing to make a happy family. its just part of life and its nice if your partner and you are both satisfied in making love.
but for me the most important thing is respect to each other.

It's part of the whole picture. Intimacy is a reflection of the health of your relationship. If communcation, mutual goals, and shared responsibility is present, then sex is a beautiful blend of mind and body. Let me tell you, this is hard to achieve and it changes as situations change, but communcation will keep things going.
