you should rest for two weeks and let the medication get rid of As much inflammation as possible. plantar fasciitis is a very difficult condition to control. After you play squash you should soak your feet in hot water with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. You're going to have to take care of your feet and pay more attention than you used to. I also recommend massage therapy to help deal with the problem.

I am a nurse and have suffered from plantar pain for a couple of years. The docs just say take anti-inflammatories and analgesics for the pain, but I know this was just masking the symptoms.

Anyway, I got this guide and a couple of days of following it my pain is completely gone. And I know it's really gone cause I'm not on any meds so if there was any pain left I'd know it.

Get rid of your plantar fasciitis & foot pain?

Quit taking the injections, they only "help" 40% of the people that take them, and quit playing squash, the plantar fasciitis is a forever thing, it will always flair up, I have had it for 20 years so far, and I know injecting steroids in your feet is not going to help much if any. You could just be experiencing the placebo effect, your doctor said it would help and your brain thinks he is right.
