Even living in a relatively much more advanced and progressive society, still a quarter of young muslims are blinded to what they see and instead cling to the primitive and ruthless view of the world that is islam.

Because islam's core belief is that nothing in the real world matters, so you should suck up to the moon god and get rewards in an imaginary afterlife.
It's probably very comforting for someone who has nothing going for him to imagine that by killing himself (which he should and probably would do anyway) he can get the things he couldn't by being a decent human being.
