I asked Him into my heart when I was a little girl - about 8, I think - but I didn't know what it meant to live as a Christian because I was not being raised in a Christian home environment. At that time, I thought you could lose your salvation if you didn't have perfect behavior. I was 30 before I was baptized, because up until that point, I was under the illusion that I wasn't "good enough" to be a Christian. It took a good pastor to point out to me that NOBODY is "good enough"...it's only the blood of JESUS that makes us "good enough" for God, and you CAN'T lose your salvation just because you don't have perfect behavior, because God sees us as perfect "in Christ". The Holy Spirit comes and helps us change the behaviors in GOD'S time.

I was raise Catholic so I didn't have a choice until I turned 14 and decided to become Agnostic. But now that I'm a Muslim, I'm never going to look back.
