In there mind people can always be right. Talk is cheap. I can come up with many stories people can disprove. What stops me is my sense of ethics. It is very unfortunate ethics did not stop the religious elite from lying to the people.

When all the secret files and vaults are released by Vatican maybe I will start listening to religious leaders.

There will be peace when all secrets are revealed.

An opinion can be wrong, but someone stating what their opinion is can't be wrong (unless they are being deliberately misleading).

e.g

Person A thinks the sun is blue
Their opinion is WRONG
Person A says "I think the sun is blue"
This is CORRECT (i.e. they do think the sun is blue, although their opinion is still incorrect)

Yes. If I said it was my opinion that the sky was in fact not blue but red, that would be wrong.

Not wrong. Just misinformed, uneducated,etc.

Oh wait, that's not true. More than once my girlfriend tells me I'm wrong, and usually I agree with her. But that's more like a sorta Pascal's Wager, you know, it's safer to believe she's right about me being wrong.

An opinion can (contrary to popular opinion) be wrong.

If it is based on information that is incorrect, fabricated, or purposefully misleading, then the opinion will reflect this.
