To get anything we need to put effort. If no effort nothing happens. No pain no gain.
Right from getting food to the becoming of President effort has to made.
There is no other way except working for it. I am not saying hardwork here but a work out of love.
Just workout the priciples of God. Say Ten commandment. Follow them and try to understand them in higher version. Dont tell lie is a commandment to follow as long as that lie hurts other. But if a truth can kill or hurt other then lie. This is higher version. Soon u will learn to live a life not for greedy self but selfless.
When mind and body attain purity then kingdom of God is found in self, and search ends in self.Which right now is overlooked and cant be looked at. Just like u cant see sun in the afternoon , We cant see God with tainted mind and heart.

But there however remains a tough thing to do. That is, gettintg the blessings of a true saint. God is easier to find, the saint is difficult.

The simplest way to find God is by seeking Him. Just start seeking and you shall find Him. Just go within your heart, and ask yourself "Who am I?" And you will surely get the answer. And yes, the other way is to look for a master who has realised God. He will surely lead you on the path. But trust is very important.

I'm an atheist with a Christian friend, and he asked me just the other day to open myself up just for a moment, and in that time try to seek God. I really didn't understand what he was asking so I posed the same question as you. I received some lovely answers, and in most instances I was told that God resides within us all, we need only stop to look.

The simplest way to find God is to look at nature and see the miracles happening around you for eg. like a baby being born and will know that God is around.

You have to be starving to know it. If you're tepid, you'll get tepid results. First, purify your heart and mind by getting rid of any preconceived ideas you have about who or what God is. Rely completely on your own heart and mind to be able to distinguish truth from falsehood. Use your own eyes, ears, heart, and mind, and not that of your neighbor, friend, anyone. We have the capacity to do this, otherwise, we wouldn't be called to account for it. Ask him for help, and stay very, very focused, open, curious and aware. Look questioningly and critically. Persevere, persevere until you find your heart's desire. Likely, it will find you. Then, come back here and tell us about it.

When you think of god, just think him from your heart. is enough to reach him.
Cut your expectations which will automatically guide you towards god.
Means, if you expect, you may hurt someone in angry, give problem to others, which will stop you from reaching god and cannot find god in you itself. It doesn't mean that god hates you if you hurt someone. But god will tell you not to hurt someone. Will give you time to understand him.If you think someone makes you to trouble others, stay away and avoide them compelety.
So cut expectations, which will lead you a good life without hurting anyone. And your mind will be peace to search him in you. Simple to say. But trying is difficult. But try.Trying itself will get you a point.

We need a mediator because we are sinners. God became man and died for us, rose again on the third day. Anyone who really repents of his sins and believes this will find God

There is no version other than that which the bible clearly explains. Grace has nothing to do with you at all, but is unmerited favor from God. Grace is a gift from God of Himself, purely and simply. If we choose to accept and live by faith and grace our lives will reflect His love and joy. Grace isn't about "crushing" anyone, or "accepting" anything in life. Grace is a gift we either accept of reject.
