My mom and I have always used comet cleaner to remove marks on the walls. Get a cloth wet, put some of the comet on the cloth to make a paste. Rub the area and then wash off the abrasive cleaner with a clean cloth.

Before trying any scrubbing answer this, Is the paint on the wall washable. I have tried heating up the crayon and then wiping it off with a damp towel then using Windex. A lot of times the wax will leave a stain if the paint is not washable so you will need to touch up over it. But even if you have to paint over it try to get the wax off first or some paints will allow it to bleed through

Oh yeah, use a magic eraser from Mr. Clean. You will love this product if you have kids and want to keep a clean house. You not only can use it on the crayon but will prob use it on all types of other stuff.

If nothing works, go get a can of white paint.

I have a two year old and a three year old. Try using 409, or white distilled vinegar. Neither should damage the paint, but the crayons don't stand a chance! Also, you can try REALLY HOT water, as it kind of melts the wax in the crayon to help remove it. I hope this helps, I know it is frustrating! Best of luck to you!

Have you tried "goof off" or "goo gone"? These are liquids that can be purchased at home or hardware stores. Goo gone is good for removing all sorts of light residues like sticker glue, lipstick, etc. Goof Off is a much more potent solvent. Be careful though, overuse will dissolve latex paint. Read the instructions on the bottle.

I think you are talking about the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They are still around in the grocery store or other big stores. You also can get a cheaper one at the dollar store - works just as well. They are the easiest and best thing to remove the type of marks you are talking about. Keep looking for them.

I actually use Comet to get a lot of stains up like markers and things like that. I had a sharpie pen marker all over my kitchen table and I scrubbed with all kinds of cleaners like Fantastic, 409 and nothing worked. I finally tried some Comet and it came right off with little effort. Hope that helps

I used windex to remove crayon from my kids walls but make sure you use al all ready damp cloth. Use luke warm water to get the cloth wet then spray a small spot of windex on the crayon area. Whipe away gently pressing to hard could alter any paint on the wall.
