Oh no, no it's not just you. Most everyone with at least a few functioning brain cells and firing neurons can tell that Scientology is a dangerous, deceptive, destructive, manipulative, scamming, lying, brainwashing cult.

See our friend "thetaalways"? She tends to get a little snappy and tends to throw a few low blows when her "religion" is threatened. "You must be on drugs" or "You're probably too hateful or ignorant to understand anyway", etc etc. It's typical of Scientologists and most cult members. Hubbard HIMSELF said "Never defend, always attack".

And by the way, I think your religion sounds fantastic! I LOVE free icecream! ;-)

No....... but you evidently do.
You should check the accuracy and intent of your information sources mate cos none of this rubbish is actually what Scientology is about.
But hey, if YOU really want to believe that this is what Scientology is, your choice. I would't lable you brainwashed, but you might want to find out more about THAT subject before you go labeling others.
You sound like your on some kind of medication/drugs actually.
That's what I think.

P.S. By the way , the use of drugs are key to any successful brainwashing operation. So be careful........(L.O.L.)

I observed the programme and that Scientology guy replaced into spooky. He did them no favours in any respect, making the Scientologists look very sinister. As for their followers, who am I to tell them what to have self assurance. loose will is all significant and a God given suited. they might desire to easily enable anybody else to exercising their loose will too.

I seem to remeber reading a quote from Isaac Asimov, the sci-fi writer, who knew L. Ron Hubbard (I think they served together in the US navy in WW2 or something). Anyway, they had a conversation one time, and Asimov who was an atheist, mentioned that he could not understand how anyone could believe in God. Hubbard apparently told him that people will believe anything and that it would be very easy to create a religion for the modern age. Make of that what you will.

Each to their own and this lot appear to keep advertising their cult presumably so more might possibly fall for it and join. Your own idea could just as easily take off so get busy making the ice cream.

Usually in a cult such as this the bottom feeding members are controlled so tightly that they really are suckered into believing all that they are told to believe, and the top level players themselves usually know that it is not actually as they report it to the lower members, just like Freemasonry they keep the secrets well guarded from not only outsiders but the bottom feeders too.

Just the same way that practitioners of every other religion believe all the rubbish and myths in their holy books! Your religion? Who knows, it may become a world religion in 100 years, after you've left the scene. Make sure to gather enough gullible followers before you die, and you can safely leave the rest to them.

No more wacky or unbelievable than any of the major religions... Mohamed flying up on a winged horse, talking snakes, a global flood and the Ark... a Devil living underground in fire and brimstone, Jesus floating up to the clouds, streets of gold up in the sky...

Yes i'm guessing that if they follow it they must believe in it!

As for your biology religion, as crazy as it is, if the pitch is right you will get some sad, lonely unfortunates to believe you. As with all cults they prey on those who will easily succumb and not question. Sad really.... :(

there not causing any harm....

have you ever wondered why the media is so obsessed with scientology when we have people in england planning to blow us in the name of their religion?

the media are cowards and don't want to tackle real issues but at least you should think for yourself.

Edit - to the person below
What about other religions and people who have flown planes into buildings, blown up trains, tubes & buses. Don't you think that has broken up any families? Oh, that would be being prejudice wouldn't it?
