Aches and Pains
At a nursing home in Florida, a group of senior citizens were sitting around talking about their aches and pains.

"My arms are so weak I can hardly lift this cup of coffee," said one.

"I know what you mean. My cataracts are so bad I can't even see my coffee," replied another.

"I can't turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck," said a third.

"My blood pressure pills make me dizzy," another contributed.

"I guess that's the price we pay for getting old," winced an old man.

Then there was a short moment of silence.

"Thank God we can all still drive," said one woman cheerfully.

The interesting thing about growing quite old is the fact with dementia you forget one moment to another so life is fresh and you are unaware of any trifles that may have hung you up when you were younger!

NO...
Especially if my Body no longer is able to function without the help of another... And to think my Brain may still be active and alert, whilst inside this 'shell' I may no longer be capble of using the loo/whatever by myself. I don't want to end up being a burden on anyone. Also I don't want to end up hating having to 'live'/exsist like that. It makes me very afraid of all the things one has to 'look forward' too ......as every day brings each of us closer to the that time. It is sad... feel sad for old People, I feel sad for the Human race... well, the majority that is....I think!!!!
