What would happen in the world? This is hypothetical - but if the military and arms industry of the USA ceased to be a factor in the world, what do you think would happen?

If the US stopped buying weapons for anyone else on the taxpayer dollar would be a better hypothetical.

Once it was complete China would invade Taiwan. Iran and Turkey would occupy large sections of Iraq. Serbia would invade and reoccupy Kosovo. Bosnia could break out in civil war again, though it may not. Israel would more than likely launch an preemptive strike on Syria, or vs verse. Afghanistan would fall back into the Taliban's hands and Pakistan would become a strict Muslim state. You could see some wars breaking out in South America.

The US would added about two to three million to unemployment. That might start a depression, but a large recession would defiantly occur. Mexico would most likely attack to retake land that left in Texas war of Independence, and was taken in the Mexican American War. After they did this there economy would become one of the largest in the world with the additions of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, and parts of Oklahoma.

Other than that not much.
