A church should be about interaction. It should not be a quiet ceremony where the preacher gives a speech and the congregation falls asleep. God is alive. The preacher needs to preach it that way. When you interact you are encouraged to pray. People pray with you. If you are burdened, you cry. If you are happy, you dance. This is what church should be about. Support and prayer.

Our grove is a 7 year old growing and learning entity. We are always open to new ideas, some we explore and others we feel are not right for us.
I do not preach, but ask questions. I learn a lot from the Grove family, and i hope they learn a lot from myself and each other. We encourage individuality and respect. We listen to each other and accept that we may not agree with everything. It is ok to have different ideas and opinions. We work well together.
to me that is what it is all about when you are with others for spiritual purposes. It is not to be told what to do, but to better understand what is being done.

I like to share with others, and I'm not big on a lot of verbal expression (believe it or not!), except to state what we need or are working for. I like to "hook into the network", as a former coven sister of mine put it. I'm hooked in with all these other souls and minds, all wanting pretty much what I want, all putting everything we've got into something bigger. It's a really beautiful feeling, and downright addictive. It makes me feel so small and overawed, but in the best way, like looking at the ocean or a clear night sky. I'm just a small part of nature. But I am *a* working part. Evoi Sabai!!!

My Temple is a place to share and explore our spirituality. There are multiple channels of communication. It is a wonderful way to refuel the spiritual battery, to explore your beliefs and to do so in a social context.

Before you join a church most people have somewhat of a belief already. I studied my bible at home and not just at church. I have found no fault in the church I am with now. The word of God has taught me and God has taught me through my pastor.

If you are referring to a sermon, it's like taking a class. The teacher teaches, you learn. I always had access to my pastor afterwards, and he would always discuss and debate, and answer my questions. The time for that is not in the middle of the "class."

it seems that you haven't been to church at all.
We discuss everything spiritual and relate to it.
Most of who come to church have questions and problems with believing in God or Bible ...etc.
