Someone please help, i think its a female but it looks male as well (I'm no expert) it even 'meorrrrrsssss' while its eating!

another problem is that i have another cat thats very possessive of what she decides are hers which includes me, the house and any sort of breathing space she occupies.

so any ideas on how to make the new cat shut up and my other one stop bringing out the claws?

It has no collar and seems to have be comfortable in a house setting however it's plain from the condition of its coat and overall health that either its been dumped or its been lost for quite some time.

i wouldst just steal someone else's cat...

I think you should first determine if the cat belongs to someone else. After that, you can go about solving your other problems.

The cat might be feral. It is best to take it to the vet before you introduce it to your cat because of disease. Also I would try and put a found classified in the paper. It might just be lost. Good luck.
And if you decide to keep it. I think your cat and the new cat will eventually get use to each other.

I'm just going to address the meowing problem since no one else has...it could be a female in heat. One of my "new" strays was doing the same thing and I knew she was in heat. I brought her to a shelter, where they took care of her and found her a permanent home.

Why the cat is meowing while it is eating it is happy to eat and maybe it is hungery. It sounds like you don't like cats to cry. Then don't feed the cat and find out who's cat it is.

You can't steal someone else's cat!!!!!!! You shouldn't feed it either. Some animals have allergies, or are on a diet. Their owners get really upset when other people feed them.
