They should broadcast it live too, to name and shame the moronic drivers.

Unfortunately I spend a lot of time being driven around town by bus as I have no other choice. When a double decker is trying to squidge past another vacated misery bubble every 4 minutes or so - you really do start to sympathise with wardens I have to say.

More unfortunate for me still, I am also a cyclist and learner biker. As a cyclist in the UK, it's great how cars are parked all over cycle lanes, across driveways and footpaths, and on crossings. It really is lovely being squished between a wrongly parked car and 4by4 racing past, or when cars nearly plough into me because they can't see beyond the corner - where another van is blocking the view.

More fortunate for me, I travel through Salford regularly, where this wardencam pilot will start. I do hope it will make a difference.

Why do people slag off Traffic wardens?
I've had parking tickets, as a result of my own stupidity for not reading signs properly. Just the same with my speeding ticket. My fault - not the camera.
Drivers shouldn't blame the authorities when THEY screw up.
Who would be the first to complain when a place is gridlocked from moronic parking practises?
The camera will ensure fair play - on both sides.

Would be i good idea if they continiously recorded some of their antics... like hiding in the bushes or around the corner or insisting that a returning driver waits for him to finish writing a ticket so he can give it to him, or overexaggerating minor infringements like a wheel 2 cm on a kerb, or ticketing vehicles that have been involved in accidents, or waiting for the council to paint yellow lines under cars then giving the tickets or..... need I say more?
