I'm having the design for a low back tattoo drawn up but then last night I got hit with another idea.... why not get a fan of peacock feathers? I like the idea, it's one I've never seen... Opinons? And if you have design ideas I'm open. :)

All of my sisters and I have bird nicknames...peacock being mine. It has relevance, do believe that.

Is this your first? If not how long have you liked the original idea. I have one and waited 2 years before I had it done. I figured if I liked that far into the future then 30 or 40 years from now when I'm in 60's and 70's I wouldn't hate it. I like your peacock idea, but depending on how big you want I'd scale it back to a single peacock feather with some kind of border around it (although I wouldn't go tribal). Other than that take it where you want.

I like it a lot, but that would look good in a lot of different places, so depending on how covered you are and how covered you want to be you could put the peacock feathers somewhere else and stick to your original tattoo design for your lower back. The more the merrier right?

Tattoos I believe are very personal and should reflect something about you. I have three myself and they all make a statement about who I am, without words. Peacock feathers sound pretty and unique, just make sure you're going to be happy with the design when your 50, because it will still be there. Hope it helps.

I like the idea of the peacock feathers. It is always good to get a tattoo that has some special meaning for you. It tells people something about you. Go for it!

That sounds really cool - just make sure to get a good artist because that complex of a design can get messed up real easily.

Don't get a tattoo just to have a tattoo because you think it'll be cute. Get something that means something to you. It'll be there a while.

There are some REALLY good designs out there for back tattoo's involving dragons. You SHOULD be able to incorperate a dragon or (feeling feminine?) butterfly tat into that.
Good luck though!

I actually like the idea and while it might not be totally original (nothing is - let's face it - it's all been done), it's not something you see every day. If you are going to go for it, I say go big :)

Well it shows that you are uncertain of what you want. Don't let what others think to make you do something that is not what you want. A tattoo stays for life so until when you are really clear then you do it.

That really sounds cool
On my lower back I got Old style Strawberry shortcake and I am planning on adding all her friends. That is something I have never seen before.
