Call him on it. I would not care that has never been in a relationship before.
I would be direct and ask him if you are wasting your love on a man that can't return the same. If he values the relationship he will come on line. Corner his butt and make him say so it can become more natural for his if you get the confirmation he want you has a woman.

It depends how long you've been together. If it's longer than a year then somethings wrong. If it is longer than a year then just sit him down and ask him do you love me. This way you can just sort it out there and then. At least you'll know if you have a future together. If he says no, I suggest you leave him and move on. Find someone who will love you and make you happy.
If you have been together less than a year, wait. You shouldn't just come out and say I love you on the phone. Say it to his face and if he doesn't say it back just don't say it again until he does. Maybe he just needs time.
Men are not as emotional as women is not a valid excuse. They are, sometimes even more emotional than women. Saying I love you isin't something just women say, it has to be said both ways. I hope this advice helps and good luck :)

DONT TELL HIM THAT!!! u scared him girl. I never say i love you first i wait to make sure he loves me first by actions and the way he looks at me. If you play it cool from now on he won't dump u because if he just says bye when you tell him you love him you are scaring him and he probably thinks that you are gullible and dumb to love him and he hasnt loved anyone before. If he loved you trust me he would know and wouldnt have a problem expressing it through actions. Bye isnt a good action

Maybe he's just afraid of revealing his feelings cause he thinks that he could be hurt in the future.. as he has never benn in a relationship this may be due to some things that happened in his life concerning relatives or persons he know and he just dont want this to happen to him..

Probably because he doesn't love you. He obviously likes you a lot, but when and if he says he loves you you can be sure he actually means it, and not just saying the words as so many do.

Maybe he is shy or maybe hes not feeling comfortable ...or hes not feeling the relationship. Just try to make him feel comfortable so he can be at ease and this way..he will be more open to you and not shy. If there are things that make him feel uncomfortable like things that make him feel shy..give him some time ..maybe hes not use to it ...!! If this does not work ..then you gotta let him go !!!

its a big deal for some people to say it it doesnt mean he deasnt feel it but he isnt ready to say it the you because after that theres no going back, give give him time and he will say it, maybe u should stop saying it and then he will probable miss you saying it then you both have started a converstion about it and u can ask why he wont say it!!

Fear of commitment!!!! The more you want him to, the more you push him, the more obsessed you get he will just withdraw and feel smothered. Just back off. It might take him longer to figure out how he feels and what it's all about! It could take years & then it may never happen.

He could be scared, perhaps hes not sure where things are headed.
He might also think its too soon to say i love you.
It could be 100s of different reasons, i think you should just ask him if he loves you!

He's got a commitment phobia or he doesn't love you. In either case, run like King Kong were pursuing you.....take it from someone who was married to someone who couldn't say, "I Love You" without being intoxicated.....
