I do believe that the mind is a far more powerful tool than we realize and with better understanding of our own inner space many para-psychological events could be explained away by science. Years ago people thought the ghostly green vapor seeping out of the ground around grave sights was evil spirits. We now know that it is methane gas from a rotting corpse in a wooden coffin rising to the surface, and when illuminated by the light of a full moon it glows slightly. These "grave lights" were a common sight years ago but since current mortuary standards use a sealed concrete vault the have all but stopped. Examples like this abound in the science vs. spirit debate. Although science can't explain everything currently it can account for most phenomenon. It would take the society to change their view of the unexplained to allow science to step in, and society doesn't want that yet. We love ghost, aliens, Bigfoot, the lochness monster, the chupacabra, and the whole pantheon of other worldly boogie men. These before mentioned creatures and spirits generate a great deal of money and provide a small relief in reality for many who believe in them. We want to believe in ghost. Until we no longer have the desire to fool ourselves, on any conscious level, there will always be ghosts.

Yes definetely, I love to watch the ghost hunters, and I didnt believe in ghost till I seen the bird cage scene where the wire came off the bell.
Man that was the most moving scene I saw
about ghost. And also the shadow in the
lighthouse, chilling, did you see the way it moved? so fast.....
I never seen anything as good as the ghost
hunters as far as looking for ghost.
You know I thought about it and what if they do expose the ghost to where there not a secret anymore, whats to keep them from
following those guys home, or even worse
they run across a ghost that loves the camera and shows up everywhere the ghost hunters go.

Yes, I do. I think ghosts are real, because the ghost of my grandmother visited me not long after she died.
As to "science" explaining them (not away, but explaining them), I think when the concept of what is or is not scientific is expanded to include matters of the human mind and soul that are currently left out of the scientific literature, then it can work. This might involve more complete understanding of the brain and its functions, but it might also be detection of subtle energies that would be more in the realm of physics. Quantum physics is already going in some completely strange directions, and shows great possibilities.

purely as a results of fact Discovery Chanel places out a programme approximately ghosts or demons does no longer advise they're telling us that ghosts or demons are real. they're purely featuring a case and allowing us to make up our very own minds. I watched a programme at the instant (i'm able to't submit to in recommendations which channel) wherein a spiritualist medium replaced into taken to the tomb of Tutankhamen the place he held a communique with the long ineffective pharaoh. consistent with possibility he did have this communique. yet genuinely no longer something the pharaoh advised the medium got here as a marvel to me; I had examine all of it in books. With regards your question 'Can technological awareness clarify ghosts, demons?' you won't be able to teach a destructive and ghosts are somewhat destructive, are they no longer?

There is not one instance of a ghost case, properly documented and observed under controlled circumstances.
For science to explain it, it has to be observed first. Science can't prove a negative. And again, outside of the heads of gullible people it hasn't been observed.

Absolutely... for all claims has to be supported and backed up by facts. There are some claims which needs not require scientific proofs at first but the existence of different realms and dimensions could be scientifically proven by different researches.

I think their real, just can't prove it. I believe Most haunted is more of a theatrical act, than is real. I've seen more real evidence on ghost hunters on the sci-fi channel than Most haunted.

I think they are real, but live in their own kind of world, where they don't really bother anyone, so we really shouldn't provoke them with our science probing.
Look what happened in the Grudge.
I think everything in this world is in balance, so humans and the spirit community co-exist in harmony. I couldn't imagine being in a drunken bar-fight with one, could you?

No. I just think it's possible for us to think of things that don't exist.
I can think of a dragon.
That does not mean that in the future we will find one.
It just means I can think of it.
The same goes for ghosts.
If I have an eerie feeling, it means I have an eerie feeling. My feeling does not necessarely mean there is something out there.

It's possible.I'd like to see Mythbusters get together with Most Haunted and see what scientific evidence then can come up with.
