believe in God's goodness, His soon second return as King of kings and Lord of lords, His soon to be established kingdom and all is well. There's never a good a human can do to bring about change in the world and thus bring about peace. You can't certainly put your trust in that.

Those of you who think God is a fairytale you wait and see!

Actually, Cool, BELIEVING has NOTHING to do with it. I don't care what you believe in -I care about what you DO. Too often, what people report they believe (and they may really mean it) doesn't square with what they do.

The "peaceniks" of the 1960's included some pretty violent people, and some of the greatest warriors were actually peaceful folks. Go figure.

There will be no world peace until Christ returns and rules 'with a rod of iron'. Humanity is NOT CAPABLE of maintaining peace on their own."They will say:peace and safety, and sudden desctruction will come upon them."
If you think that you can have peace without Christ, you are wrong. We are just too rotten and sinful.

Real belief in God is not only belief in the Good but commitment to cultivating the moral Good

Believing in God means you know His plan is flawless and fair. It wouldn't heal everything. We can't understand the reasons why some things happen, and instantly judge them as good or bad. But that's our own judgement. What's bad for you might be good for me. Believing in what each one of us judges as Good might not heal everything, either.

Maybe if we believed in doing good unto OTHERS, and not only to ourselves...
