Razor wire barriers along most of our southern border with automated pillboxes every three miles a declared five mile exclusion zone on the south side of the wire and a AI in charge of the 25mm cannons in the pillboxes with instructions to shot anything within a mile of the border!

The sad thing Im seeing here with most of the peoples answers is this, they are welcoming ILLEGALS into this country. No, it doesnt matter of improving your life or relocating, its a matter how they GO ABOUT doing it. My family was immigrants, moms grands from Ireland, and my Dads grands from the Island of Greece. Now this is the thing, they went through the naturalization process and got their citizenship.

These people are too lazy to go about it because it takes too long, yes I know it takes long, it took a friend of mine who married a Filipino woman 6 years for her to become a citizen and this is even after he married her over here, and she was trying hard to become a citizen, but when she was scheduled to take her test they kept calling her and postponing it.

Sorry for that rant but thats the main thing were dealing with here, ILLEGALS people who are over here on 3 year workers permits who just disapear after that permit expires and stay over here.

But yes, we would have to pay for the construction of the automated system, and I dont believe shooting them outright would be fair. You would have to give some sort of fair warning, such as "Stop or we will shoot." in their language, then if they keep coming, yes it would be a good deterrent. But they would most likely find other ways to get here, we have lots of unguarded ocean space as well.

Basically, we need to invade Mexico and take it over because that would improve Mexico beyond belief. Our younger generation would be happy because we now have all the party places in our country, and the Mexicans would be happy because their now part of America. Oh wait that wont happen because theres nothing in Mexico thats any benefit to Bush....so much for improving the globe, and trust me Mexico needs improving.

Who is going to pay for this barrier? The US Taxpayer!

The money would be better used to hire Mexicans legally to come and work in the USA doing the jobs that Americans are to proud to do.

hmmmm....had time to think have we? I agree we must find a better way to control it, but at the same time, with minimal cost. I believe those Americans that have a problem with it should pay a little extra to help the cause, so they can get over here legally rather than....illegal! But hey, that's just my way of thinking.

No but the US Military-Industrial Complex would make a lot of money by hiring illegals to save money.

I can see why they put the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor.

Wow, how bout we just put auto nuke silos all across the western coast? How much do you think it would cost? About the same. Last time I checked the border was a pretty large place and with all the illegals aliens coming across whos gonna pay for ammo?

I doubt any deterrent would be enough to stop some people trying to improve their lives.
