You can purchase feline laxitives in pet stores, but it's not advised that you give a kitten that young anything to flush him out, as it will remove the vital bacteria in his gut.

Try adding a drop or two of olive oil into his formula, and increase the water you mix his formula with.

A cat does NOT have to have a bowel movement everyday.
Is the kitten urinating? If all its taking in is liquids; it should be urinating. It prob. won't have a bowel movement every day. My cat only has them apx. 3 times a week; and she eats hard food. But she urinates a few times a day.

Be sure to give the kitty plenty of water also. That will help it to have normal bowel movements. If this doesn't work; it could have an obstruction; and U prob. should take it to the vet; to be safe. Good luck; your kitty can give you much joy and love if you take good care of it.

Don't give the kitten cow's milk; they don't tolerate it. If the kitten's still bottle feeding, I'd call the vet and ask them what's safe to give the young one. You can stimulate the bowels and bladder by moistening a cotton ball or washcloth with warm water and gently rub it's lower tummy and bottom. You're mimicking what "mom-cat" does for her kittens. I can't take credit for this answer. The question comes up often on this forum and that's repeatedly the answer.

You say not often. As long as he is having them don't worry. At this age you should soon be able to get him drinking from a saucer. It is also time to schedule a visit for first shots soon. He will need to be wormed as well. We always start shots and worming at four weeks of age.
