its not a diet - its just a marketing strategy from which company makes money and doesnt take responsibility for what people are gona do - if they believe it or not.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Do weight watchers, it much better, Ive lost 16lb since February, and i even had a few weekends where i cheated and went over board with the alcohol and nibbles.Good thing is, its easy to get back on track and you don't feel like your eating thin air. This morning Ive had two shredded wheat, semi skimmed milk and sweetener, lunch I'm having chicken salad and a weight watchers ice cream sundae, tea I'm having some no points soup, then a jacket potato with tuna and salad.Even have room for some low fat crisps! Sound better than special k diet?

Please don't do it. I can't believe big companies out there keep getting away with this. It will work for the 2 weeks you are doing it for as you are basically starving yourself. During this point of starvation you break down your bodies muscle to get the nutrients your body needs to survive. This in turn reduces your bodies metabolic rate so, surprise surprise, when you stop the diet you put all the weight back on and more.
There is no quick answer to dieting as you can imagine it takes along time to put the weight on it will take time to take the weight of. However if you make the change today I promise you will be thanking yourself in the future.
I know this was probably not the answer you were hoping for but it is the truth and there needs to be more of it out there. If you want to know how to eat healthily then visit my blog, I have trawled the Internet for decent trust worthy companies and I list them. Visit also to learn more on how to treat your body. I really hope it helps.

There are better altenatives to do.

This diet work, but for a short period of time and at a big risk of gaining the weight back.

Your best bet is to change your eating habits for healthy ones and doing some exercise. The results will be better and for life.

I have tried it a couple of times. The bad thing about it is that by the time dinner comes your starving and you have a tendency to over eat. So if you are going to do it keep in mind that you need to have a lite snack here and there, I did lose 7 llbs. so it isn't a bad diet. Good luck.

Tried this last year. Didn't work for me. I have just lost 2 stone since the end of Jan with good old fashioned calorie counting. Just reduce portion sizes and check calorie content it worked for me.!

Even if it does work, you won't keep the weight off. Try making lifestyle changes instead of dieting. You are more likely to binge if you restrict yourself too much.
