No way will it burst. I'm 14 stone and do weights of 60kg on it so very approximately that is a total of 24 stone double your weight and it hasn't burst on me once. Just make sure it is a good quality one, the plastic should be pretty thick.

They are pretty strong, but in theory they could burst if damaged (eg by a zipper on your clothing, by something sharp or abrasive on the floor or where you store it, or by heat). Your weight certainly wouldn't do it on its own.
Some balls are sold as 'anti-burst' or 'burst-proof', either because they have a protective mesh in the plastic to make them tougher, or because they won't split if they're punctured. This would make them deflate slowly instead of exploding, and let you down gently. If you're worried, you could look for one of these.

I believe they'r designed to take alot of weight. I have one and am currently 16 stone odd.
I've got it for labour in the next couple of weeks :)
