When you do fat burning excersizes, is fat reduced from all over the body? Or, is it reduced in the areas where the muscles groups are working the most?

I'm thinking of fat burnign exersizes that would burn fat in the upper body, like the chest.

Would jogging and cycling long distances really burnt he fat there or would the thy and other leg muscles burn fat in only those lower parts only?

Thx for any help on this! :)

yes, fat is reduced all over the body. it makes no difference which parts of the body are doing the most work. however, if someone is for example a runner, they will develop stronger muscles in the legs OVER TIME, because their body is adapting to the hard work they're doing and changing accordingly.
to work the chest effectively you should perform resistance exercises like bench presses, press ups etc but the pectorals may also benefit from REGULAR use of a rowing machine. Please note that you will not be burning fat simply in that area when rowing, you will be helping to strengthen the muscles beneath as well as doing an effective cardiovascular workout.

I am currently taking a biology class and I learned something very interesting- if you want to lose weight you definitely should exercise but not to the extent where you are going to pass out- instead something that does get you heart rate up like a light jog -- you see, glucose gets broken down through a process called glycolysis and creates ATP (the only usable form of energy) in addition to pyruvates that go into the Krebs cycle where more ATP is formed- however if there is a lack of oxygen (when you start gasping for air when you run and can't breathe= lack of oxygen) the products start to ferment and the glucose never gets the chance to get broken down and eventually goes back to fat- which can't be broken down this way because it has to be turned into glucose first-- so just try to eat right and don't consume too much fat in your diet and watch your calorie intake-- also the percent of fat from calories should be less than 30% a lot of people don't know that-- and don't kill yourself when you exercise because a deprevation in oxygen doesn't help to burn fat. hope this helps!

Fat will be burned all over your body and you will notice most in the places that you last put fat on. For instance, if your arms were the last place your had serious fat depositing before working out, then it will be the first you will notice to disappear.

the body will metabolize the fat all over, but you will notice it most in areas where there are large deposits of it.
