Well, you have to consider the fact that the adoption of a child will affect your parents' lives much more than yours. You just want a friend, but they will have to feed, clothe and pay for this child.
You can bring it up if you want but I don't think that they'll adopt someone based on your need of companionship.

Well, you can always just come right out and say it, but I doubt they'll do so just because you want companionship. Adopted or no, having another child would be a big responsibility for your parents, and if they haven't had another yet then chances are good they don't want to.

Try taking up a new hobby other than gaming. Plus, if you make good friends you can treat them as you would a brother or sister. I'm an only child myself, but I have a best friend that I've known for 11 years now, and I refer to her as my sister and treat her as family all the time.

I'm not sure that adopting a sibling will solve your boredom problems. Why not ask your parents to do things with you? Like, take you to sports events or cultural activities? Get involved in a hobby or community service together? Maybe they would agree to try foster parenting for awhile they could consider adopting a child.

If you want to ask them about these concerns you have, just approach them in a calm and loving way. Don't tell them what they don't do for you, or how bored you are. Just tell them you have been wondering how they would feel about the idea and if they could just THINK about it for awhile. Then see what happens. If you can, say a prayer first.

Good luck. I hope you find some companionship and happiness soon.

Just come straight out with it. Brothers and sisters don't always get on tho. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters we are always fighting. Are you adopted? You could go out with friends and play video games with them.

I don't think brothers and sisters are going to help you much, if you get off your butt and go down to your local hospital and help out down there' you'd get so much back in return, you will never be bored again! Have a good day.

Aren't you a bit old for worrying about a brother or sister? Time to start learning how to be productive in the spare time that you have.

well you don't need brothers or sisters to make your life not boring. try hanging out more with your friends outside maybe playing basketball and stuff like that.

If you get bored, then you should find a new hobby. A new family member will mean much more for your mom and dad than it will for you. It's time you started entertaining yourself, rather than relying on mom and dad for entertainment. You could try babysitting, if you like little kids.

If you have any family members that live near you, you could always hang out with them. Another child would affect not only your life but your parents life as well..
