I have been a railway fan since the 1950s and have no memories of specially coloured trains being introduced for one particular football club. The then British Railways didn't go in for fancy colours at that time (unlike todays TOCs which will put anything on a carriage if it brings in some dosh) I suspect that you are thinking of the 'Blue Pullman' forerunner of today's high speed trains. Electric locos at the time were also painted sky blue.
