Does anyone know a good internet resourse that can be contacted so you can volunteer to work with abandoned babies in India? I've found a few commercial sites but nothing that actually looks like hard work ....Help!

I find it difficult to beleive that you can forsake the poor and homeless in your own country to aide the poor and homeless in another country.
Be of help in your own backyard.
