i don't have to prove He exists because of faith.

faith is the substance of something or someone not seen. but we know that it/He is there. :)

but since you all like proofs so much, prove it.

if we cannot prove a negative, that means, we just know that it is not there.

faith is the substance of things not seen, but knowing its there/or not there.

so ALL OF YOU HAVE FAITH!

I am not claiming that God exists. You are claiming it. So the believers or theists have to prove that God exist. Let us say some one is claiming the existence of Ghosts, Angels, Jinn (Genie) etc and he wants me to believe it then he has to come up with substantial scientific proof that they exist. The existence of God is based on belief not on proof.

You don't have to prove that your god exists because you have faith huh? Did you ever stop to think how illogical that is? What if I told you I believed in magic puppies that hide in trees and dared you to prove they don't exist and then turned around and told you I don't have to have any proof because golly gee I have faith. You'd think I was an escaping from the mental wing of a hospital.

There's many arguments against the existence of gods. One of the best ones is Occam's razor. Ever heard of it? No, I doubt you have. Occam's razor was formulated by William of Occam (1285-1349) and says: "Non est ponenda pluralites sive necessitate" or in english: "Do not multiply entities unless necessarily". It is a principle for scientific labour which means that one should use a simple explanation with a few explanatory premises before a more complex one.

Let's say that everything must be created, and that was done by an omnipotent god. A god which stands above time, space, moral and existence, which is self containing and in it self has it's own cause. This entity can surely be replaced by the known world. The world stands above time, space, moral, existence, is self containing and in it has it's own meaning. Most theists agree that god has a nature. Then we must raise the question, who created god's nature? If we just accept that god has a nature and exists without a cause, why not say that the known world just is and that the laws of physics are what they are, without a cause?

God is not really an explanation, only a non-explanation. It is impossible to gain information from non-information so God as an explanation is a dead end. When we have said that the reason for something is that 'god did it that way' there is no way to understand it any further. We just shrug our shoulders and accept things as they are. To explain the unknown by god is only to explain how it happened, not why. If we are to investigate the world and build our views of life from the world, we cannot assume a god. Because adding god as an explanation leaves as many, if not more questions than it explains, god has to be removed with Occam's razor if we are serious in investigating the world.

One can prove there is Hydrogen in a room by lighting a match.
Big explosion occurs.
One can prove that a lake is polluted. Plants and animals nearby seem to be dying and appear deformed.
One can prove that a pie is being baked. A pleasant aroma is present.
One can tell if chicken is cooked thoroughly. It is no longer pink and slimy inside and outside.
One can prove that "God" does not exist. "Odin", "Anubis", "Ares" did not exist either.
Neither action nor inaction produce any results. You speak to "Him", yet there is no answer.
You listen, yet there is no sound. You touch, yet there is no presence. You smell, yet there is no odour. You look, yet there is no one and nothing material in sight.
"God" was a fairy tale written by delusional humans in a few books created for the sole purpose of world domination.
That is my greatest proof. Deception coupled with ignorance provides a safehaven for those who cannot and will not think.
Religion forces people into this trap and keeps them in it.
Need more proof? Ask "God". Or my invisible friend Clive.

Haven't you heard of the notation it is for the ones who claims positive to prove?

You can prove positive as it is there. You cannot prove negative as it is not there.

For example, proof to me there is no wiki wiki man that takes over the throne from your god...... You cannot claim ignorance because it is your god we are talking about. Since you say there is a god, then ask your god if the wiki wiki man took over his throne ..... if he say no, then he is lying. (This is your argument, isn't it? So you should play by your argument).

-----

For your argument :

"if we cannot prove a negative, that means, we just know that it is not there.

faith is the substance of things not seen, but knowing its there/or not there.

so ALL OF YOU HAVE FAITH!"

Does it mean you IMAGINED it and you believe your own imagination so much you believed in it, since it is a substance that cannot be seen. Therefore, from your argument, god is imaginary.

there is actual information of a God that exists or existed. That information is us. Now look at it this way: we are the following, alive and respiration. some form of life source had to of created our life rigidity. even if God is an impression in area or another being, he does exist. people like opt to assert it become the tremendous bang that created each and everything. yet how about this: What if the tremendous bang become God? effortless remember and darkish remember colliding, may reason the creation of each and everything. even though it is going previous our comprehension. life can no longer come from something that would not encompass life. If there become no life, then there will be no life. Our body is made from power and that is what God is made from. that's how we are in his photo. which will be how he's with anybody in any respect time. when we die, our soul (power) can no longer die. It ought to both pass into yet another life (Reincarnation) or back to the major source. power ought to proceed to be transferring because lifeless products do no longer comprise power.

The real god, the Invisible Pink Unicorn says the christian god is just a lie made up by the Purple Oyster to draw people away from the truth. And the Invisible Pink Unicorn is the source of all truth.

Since the Invisible Pink Unicorn is the true supreme being, and She says the christian god does not exist, the christian god therefore does not exist.

You sound like a broken record why on earth does anyone have to prove that god exists if you beleive that he does why on earth do you need others to prove what you already seem to know, guess that you are psychic and that you know all things, as for the little matter re: god what makes you so much better than non beleivers. You have the same basic needs as your fellow man and yet you probably sit there in denial. Nice to sit in judgement of others from your lofty heights. beleive in what you will but do not impose your fanatical beleifs on others. There is nothing to prove are you not happy beleiving on your own..........grow up!

Atheism is impossible to prove. You're trying to prove a universal negative. You're saying, 'I know for a fact there is no God anywhere in the universe'. How could you know that? You'd have to be able to search every little inch of the universe to prove that. Even that wouldn't prove anything because If you searched all of the universe I would just say that the reason you missed him is because when you were over here he was over there. You'd have to be in every inch of the universe at the same time. If you could do that you wouldn't prove that there wasn't a God you would prove just the opposite...namely, that there was a God because you would be God if you could be in every inch of the universe at the same time. Even if you could be in every inch of the universe at the same time I would just say that the reason you didn't find him was because you were looking in the universe and he is outside the universe. If God created the universe he would have to be outside of it since he existed before the universe even existed, having created it. Athiesm is utterly impossible to prove. It's not only impossible to prove , it's implausible to believe. The fact is, everywhere you look in the universe there is design. Where there's design there must be a designer. That's just common sense. You can call that designer whatever you want to call him. I call him God. Anyone who could design a universe would have to be a God. Life only comes from already existing life. It does not come from non-life. Louis Pasteur proved that back in 1800. They call it the Law of Bio-Genesis. That's a scientific law. It says basically that life always comes from already existing life and that Like produces Like(dogs produce dogs, horses produce horses, humans produce humans, ape produce apes....).That law is not non-falsifiable. It could be disproven. All you would have to do is find one example to the contrary either today or any time in past history. Nobody has ever done that. What we see is that life always comes from already existing life. It never comes from dead chemicals. To quote Dr. Louis Bounoure, Director of the Zoological Museum and Director of Research at the National Center of Scientific Research in France,"evolution is a fairy tale for adults".

There are Many Simple examples to prove God does not exist. It'll take a little open mindedness, and reasoning on your part, but good luck.------Since the beginning of time Gods have explained the Unknown to man, correct?, Of course. Now lets expand on this. The Indians, Developed a God, and this god explains Why Corn grows, because the Indians Do not understand why the corn grows. But now with our Intelligence, we understand the growth of corn, and this god no longer exists. it's Known to be fiction.---Your God ultimately explains The beginning of life, and you're time after death, as well as the origins of the universe, which is a currently Unknown Subject, All of them are.--- To *Logically* conclude this statement, it stands to ultimately reason, that your god will crumble, with the Advancement of Human intelligence. -----This mere strand of a Logic is almost enough to completely discredit any Belief in any of the gods created by humans which seems to me, and any intelligent being, proof enough to show, Why a God exists in the Mind of a Human, AND why they Don't exist in Reality. *****I hope that you actually READ and Mentally evaluate, as well as Consider my Statements, rather than Cast them aside with your Belligerent ignorance.

You cannot prove that God does not exist because there is no proof that there is no God. However there is plenty of evidence that God does exist, take for example the fact that even the simplest form of life of is made of extremely complex system of cell structures that are IMPOSSIBLE to have just happened someone ( extremely intelligent ) had to create them. And when one of the know it all scientists explain how gravity works I might begin to humour there rantings.
