Yes, Jesus was born on May 23. This was revealed by a spirit, a holy spirit, who we (plural) believe is THE Holy Spirit. And if you will believe it, He is the spirit of Jesus Christ Himself. Our communication with Him, which we call “sessions”, are tape recorded.

The Holy Spirit revealed this May 23 birth date as well as the August 17 crucifixion and death of Jesus to the listeners. I first heard these dates in 1983 but started only to check their veracity 16 years later when we connected to the Internet in 1999. I assure you that I did not pick those dates up from thin air. I just checked them if they are true and correct, or not. Had I proven them to be wrong, I would have withdrawn my belief in the spirit.

Your opinion about the birth of Jesus is most welcome.

The first that I checked was the crucifixion date of August 17. I found it to be correct after four years of research (1999-2003). The year is 1 BC. The results of this research are found in the first website below.

Then I checked the birth date of May 23. I also found it to be correct after two years of research (2004-2006). The year is 33 BC. Jesus was therefore 32 solar years old when He died or 33 lunar years. The results of this research are found in the second website below.

May 23 is a date in spring. Isn’t that logically correct that Jesus must have been born on a spring day? When is the lambing season? Why do shepherds have to sleep out in the field at night? Could the Emperor have decreed that the census be taken during winter and rainy season?

Are all spirits evil that we have to ignore them all? Are archangels, such as Michael and Gabriel, evil? Is the Holy Spirit evil? 1 John 4 advises us to test the spirit. And how do we know if the spirit is from God?

The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth or the Comforter, according to Jesus, in John 16:13, "will show you things to come." This is the best test if a spirit is from God. Logically, anyone who claims to be the true God or God is in Him should be able to pass this test. Any holy scripture may not be necessary because it is plain logic that is used.

The Holy Spirit we talk to revealed those May 17 birth date and August 17 crucifixion date. To satisfy my own curiosity, I did the research myself in 1999, 16 years after I have heard them in 1983. And after years of research, I found them to be correct. Why do you think the Holy Spirit will even give such dates? Why not maintain the status quo? Why not just be mum about these matters?

If they were proven wrong, will you still believe Him? So He put His credibility at stake. What's the probability of one to be right with both dates?

Incorrect. According to the Bible when Jesus was born there were shepherds in the fields at night.

"There were also in that same country shepherds living out of doors and keeping watches in the night over their flocks." -- Luke 2:8

According to Matthew’s Gospel, chapters 26 and 27, Jesus was executed on Nisan 14, late in the day of the Jewish Passover that had begun on March 31, 33 C.E. We learn from Luke’s Gospel that Jesus was about 30 years old when he was baptized and began his ministry. (Luke 3:21-23) That ministry lasted three and a half years. Therefore, Jesus was about 33 1/2 years old when he died. He would have turned 34 about October 1, 33 C.E. In conclusion, Jesus was born about October 1.

Jesus was crucified at Passover time which definitely was not in August. May 23 for jesus Birthday is as good as any other, but still I prefer Dec 25. Merry Christmas anyway! Everyday is Christmas and Good Friday and Holy Thursday and Easter for the Christian who is in communion with Jesus . Glory to Jesus Christ!

It is possible Jesus was born in the spring. I find your crucifixion date to be questionable however since Jesus was celebrating the Passover which is according to the Jewish calendar in the spring. You might want to consider that the calendar we use has been adjusted several times. At one point the calendar was so far off it indicated spring was here during the middle of winter. Eventually they included the leap year to automatically adjust the calendar but that wasn't until nearly a thousand years after Jesus died. The Jewish calendar is actually more accurate in that respect.

I like James O's answer. In addition, the Bible warns us that if we hear another "gospel" we need to be careful. Sometimes Satanic forces pose as spirits of God.
