My slimline ps2 used to work normally now whenever I play a game..I have to pick up my slimline ps 2 and hold it diagonal till the disc loads whats wrong and do I need to visit the game repair store..or is it a dust issue?? If I dont hold it diagonal it won't read!

It looks like it has someting to do with the Disc drive or the optic lens that reads the disc. I would Definently point that out when you take it to the repair shop. make sure the Disc is place firmly in the tray. And Make sure the Disc isnt sratched. You can also try to "gently" clean the lens with a pieice of tissue and see if that works. Good luck

I think ur lens is not moving correctly on the track, probably its snagging on sumthing like debris. tell sum1 at a game repair to have a look then giv an estimate of how much it may cost to repair....doing it urself might be worse.

i would visit the game store! Sounds like a glitch in your system that needs fixed. Is it still under warrenty? If so contact them.

bring it to a video game store.they might have repair services.
